Hi! I'm Stephanie. I'm a numbers person and so much more. First and foremost, I am a hard-won lover of self, and a mother of two. These guide my purpose and intention in all areas of my life, including my work. I'm an Aries Sun with a Pitta constitution, so I bring the fire and a let's go attitude! My Tiger birth year has given me courage, determination, and a liberal dash of stubbornness, which I also may have inherited.
My off-roading path has been profound. Having dealt with childhood trauma, assault, abuse, addiction, critical illness, divorce, and ongoing patriarchal conditioning, I can honestly say that I would not be here if it weren't for the many healers I have encountered and worked with over the years.
From yoga instructors to Vipassana meditation teachers, intuitive healers to astrologers, naturopaths to allopathic doctors, talk therapists to physical trainers, RMTs to Reiki practitioners. Not to mention the profound role of music, singing, and dance. I have sought out and been led to many gifted healing practitioners over the last 20+ years. Thank you for the work that you do in supporting the wellbeing of others.
You might not think of your work as "healing." I invite you to reframe that. Maybe you don't think financial education, empowerment, and system implementation are healing, but my experience has shown that healing your financial trauma and wounds will be one of the most profound healing journeys of your life.
For me, Capture Profits is a beautiful marriage—albeit, a polyamorous one 😏—between the financial knowledge I possess, the healing that has transformed me (mind, body, and soul), my love of human psychology, and my desire to empower others to heal and take control of their financial power.
Listen, I have the certifications as a Profit First Professional and Canadian Professional Bookkeeper, but these are just external markers of an internal commitment: to educate and empower you and your business around financial health because financial healing radiates to all areas of your life. I have overcome an intergenerational scarcity mindset. I implemented Profit First in my business and it gave me the financial stability I needed to move through a massive personal transition as a single income earner. I took control of my finances and it liberated me.
